Most TikTok downloaders make you work for the file: dismiss a popup, watch an ad, install an extension, sign up with an email, prove you are not a bot again. ttik was built to skip all of that. Paste the link, click the button, save the file. That is the entire product surface, and we plan to keep it that way.

The team behind ttik has been building small utility sites for years — the kind of tools you use once when you need something and never think about again. That is exactly the experience we want with ttik. You should not have to remember it. You should not have to trust it with an email. You should not have to close a modal to reach the download button.

ttik runs in the browser and never sees an account, because there is no account to sign into. Public TikTok URLs go in, video files come out, and nothing about the exchange sticks around on our side.

ttik works with public TikTok content only — videos anyone can already open in a browser. If a video is private, restricted to friends, or from an account that has blocked you, ttik will not fetch it. Nothing about the tool tries to break access controls or scrape restricted profiles.

What you do with the file after saving it is a separate question, and it is on you. Watching a downloaded TikTok offline, saving it for a class or a mood board, keeping a copy of your own posts — all fine in most places. Re-uploading someone else's video to your account, monetizing it, or claiming credit for it is not. Give the creator a shout when you reshare, and do not use ttik to redistribute copyrighted work at scale.
